From Apple to Bose to even Dyson, noise-cancelling headphones are everywhere. But none have merged the high-tech audio innovation with rock n’ roll style…until now.

Marshall teamed up with Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong to launch the new Monitor III A.N.C Wireless Headphones, the newest update to the audio brand’s bestselling Monitor series. The new cans boast more than 70 hours of active noise-canceling playtime (100 hours without), 40 more hours of wireless charge and a sleek, foldable design. The Monitor III’s are available to shop on the Marshall website and Amazon starting today.

In addition to improved ANC, the new headphones also come with a new adaptive-loudness mode, which allows users to adjust sound based on surrounding noise. Other new features include Dynamic Loudness, which adjusts the treble, mids and bass for optimal audio quality; soundstage spatial audio that releases music by moving it out of your head for complete immersion; and new audio-sharing capabilities through Auracast.

“If you know anything about me then you know that for me, the music never turns off,” Armstrong said in a statement. “Whether it’s a stadium or a club, a pub or a subway, rock ‘n roll is not just something I do, I live it…all the time. Marshall is and has been one of my loudest copilots along the way — from the stage, and now, to the street. What better way to flip off the world than put your headphones on so it’s just you, and the music?”

Marshall has been a longtime favorite of the rock star, who uses the brand’s JC900 and 1959SLP amps on stage. A special-edition version of the Plexi 1959SLP, now known as the “Dookie Mod,” helped define the sound of Green Day’s top-charting 1994 album “Dookie.”
