Greeneville Water Commission Jobs Will Affect Water For Some Residents This Week

Greeneville Water Commission work will result in water outages this week.

Crews will be working Monday in the area of Chapel, Lake, Park and Unaka Streets on a water valve repair or replacement starting at 8 AM until the job is completed. Those affected areas will have low to no water at times Monday.

Crews will be working Tuesday beginning at 8 AM on the Asheville Highway starting at Hixon Avenue all the way to South Greene Middle School to replace a water master meter for Glen Hills Utility District. Those areas will have water outages on Tuesday.

Work is expected to take most of the day on Tuesday and may have to continue on Wednesday.
