The shooting happened at about 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13 in the parking lot of the Springfield Shopping Center, behind the Target store, according to Springfield Police.

The man was taken to a hospital, his condition is unknown.

Investigators learned a man in a black Honda Odyssey shot the victim through the back window of the victim’s vehicle.

Authorities found the Honda in Fairfax, Virginia on Oct. 18 and a search of the vehicle revealed evidence that tied it to the shooting, police said.

That evidence also connected Henderson to the shooting, leading to charges being filed and an arrest warrant being issued.

Henderson is being held on $150,000 bail, court records show. He is scheduled for a Nov. 14 preliminary hearing.
