FAQ

Drop in and Draw … With Horses

WHAT — Occasionally the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum partners with National Historic Site Park Ranger Cody Faber, who models for artists in his historic cowboy attire, and brings his horse along with him.

Rather than taking place in the museum’s Educational Center, the class takes to the outdoors at the National Historic Site. This is a great opportunity for artists and those who want to enjoy a peaceful sketch to come out and hone their figure and horse drawing skills, said Casey Seamans, gallery manager at RAM.

This is the third time Drop in and Draw event has taken place at the the Historic Site. Participants should bring their own drawing supplies to participate.
