Are You Sick of Hearing About AI Yet?
Artificial intelligence (AI) is everywhere, and it doesn’t look like it’ll slow down anytime soon. We have AI-powered GPT chatbots, text, image, and video creators using generative AI, Midjourney, Hugging face, Grok, countless Gemini variants from Google, “Apple Intelligence” coming to iOS devices, Copilot, and more. Every major brand is leaning into it, for better or worse. Google mentioned AI or Gemini so many times during its Pixel 9 launch that I lost count. Honestly, I’m a bit tired of hearing about endless AI features without any real focus. What about you—are you sick of hearing the word AI yet?

What’s Your Favorite Photoshop Alternative?
Adobe’s monthly subscription fees are starting to drive me nuts. The problem, of course, is that I’m not sure which app would best replace Photoshop in my workflow. Affinity Photo looks promising, Paint.net gets a lot of love from my coworkers, and I had plenty of fun with GIMP in the 2000s—still, it’s hard to make a choice. So, what’s your favorite Photoshop alternative? Give me the sales pitch, I’m ready.

How Often Do You Use Apple Pay or Google Wallet?
These days, you can do all sorts of things on your phone. You can control your smart home, unlock car doors, or pay for goods without carrying a physical wallet. Virtual wallets like Apple Pay, Google Wallet (formerly Pay), and Samsung Pay are incredibly convenient—as long as they’re accepted where you shop. Tap to pay is pretty secure, which is important. This begs the question: How often do you use Apple or Google Pay?

What Messaging App Do You Use on Android?
These days many Android phones come with Google Messages by default, although there are countless excellent texting apps. I’m talking about Textra, Samsung Messages, WhatsApp, and more. Recently, Samsung announced that the Flip 6, Fold 6, and upcoming Samsung phones will ship with Google Messages over its own option. This is likely in preparation for cross-platform RCS support with Apple. So, which Android texting app is your favorite, and why?
