Henderson Chamber of Commerce to host small business expo

The Henderson Chamber of Commerce is set to host its “Ready, Set, Expo” on Wednesday, aiming to connect local businesses with the community.

The event will provide a platform for networking, collaboration, and growth, said Scott Muelrath, president and CEO of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce.

“The purpose of ‘Ready, Set, Expo’ is to connect local businesses and the community, providing a platform for networking, collaboration, and growth,” Muelrath said.

The expo will take place at the Henderson Convention Center, featuring a range of exhibitors showcasing their products and services. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local business leaders, entrepreneurs, and potential partners, fostering relationships within the community.

“This event supports the local economy by promoting small businesses and encouraging community support,” Muelrath said. “We also have initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within Henderson.”

John Harvey, owner of Pie Perfect and a board member of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation, shared his excitement about participating in the expo.

“Pie Perfect started as a small idea and has grown significantly with the support of the Chamber,” Harvey said. “The expo has been instrumental in helping my business grow.”

Harvey will display a variety of pies at the expo, offering attendees a chance to sample his creations.

The event will also feature representatives from the Henderson Silver Knights, including cast members Lucky and Silver Knight, who will meet guests, sign autographs, and take photos. The Silver Knights will share information about their special business package offer and give away branded gear. Guests will have a chance to win a VIP Prize pack, including a suite for an upcoming game and a Silver Knights jersey.

Other highlights include a golf simulator from ParTee Golf, a raffle by Digital Warlock giving away a 4K Apple TV and an iPad, an AI photobooth from Dragonfly Portrait Design, and an appearance by Sting the mascot from Nevada State University with NSU Spirit Squad members. Deke Henri Furry, a therapy dog, will also be in attendance dressed in hospital scrubs.
