BASEBALL

Neenah 12, Kimberly 11

NEENAH – The Rockets topped the Papermakers when Andrew Carlson walked with the bases loaded for the walk-off victory.

Trevor Stichman was 3-for-3 for Neenah. Carlson had two hits and walked twice. Mack Krause was 3-for-4 and Payton Miller had two hits.

Adam Lorrig was the winning pitcher. He pitched five innings, allowed one earned run and struck out three.

Freedom 11, Marinette 2

MARINETTE – Carson Clausen gave up one hit in six innings to get the win for the Irish in their triumph over the Marines.

Carson Peters’ bases-loaded triple in the fifth ining broke open the game. He finished with three hits and four RBI for Freedom. Matt Eberhardt also had three hits for the Irish.

Ethan Doubek took the loss for Marinette.

Freedom is now 8-7 overall and 4-6 in the North Eastern Conference. Marinette is 4-8 overall and 3-7 in the NEC.

Wrightstown 5, Chilton 2

WRIGHTSTOWN – The Tigers scored two runs in the bottom of the third inning to tie the game at 2-2, then added a run in the fifth and two in the sixth for the win.

Aiden Humphreys had a hit and two RBI for Wrightstown, which had four hits. Trevor Vande Hey, Trent Vande Hey and Jaeden Kittoe also drove in runs.

Ryan Pierquet and Hunter Rolbiecki both had a hit and an RBI for Chilton, which had three hits.

Aiden Van Zeeland pitched a complete game for Wrightstown. He allowed three hits, two unearned runs and struck out 12.

Manawa 12, Marion 2

MARION – Porter Gehrke was 2-for-3 with four RBI as the Wolves cruised to the Central Wisconsin Conference win.

Tate Drummond drove in a pair of runs, while Spencer Strebe added a triple.

Manawa scored single runs in the first, second and third innings before scoring six in the fourth and three in the fifth to nail down the victory.

Dakota Stroud earned the win on the mound, allowing two earned runs and four walks with 10 strikeouts in five innings.

SOFTBALL

Neenah 4, Oshkosh West 0

NEENAH – Kyleigh Johnson pitched a no-hitter to lead the Rockets to the win over the Wildcats.

Neenah improved to 5-4 in the Fox Valley Association with the win and 6-4 overall.

Oshkosh West is now 7-2 in the Fox Valley Association and 10-5 overall.

Winneconne 14, Lomira 11

LOMIRA – The Wolves scored seven times in the third inning to overcome a three-run deficit in the win over the Lions.

Claire Kollat had two hits, including a double, and three RBI for Winneconne. Claire Schaffer had two hits, including a triple, and three RBI. Grace Mitchell had a home run and two RBI. Jaidyn Halder had a double and two RBI. Libby Janke had a double.

Julia Youngbauer pitched the first three innings and got the win.

The game was called after five innings due to weather.

Shiocton 7, Omro 3

SHIOCTON – The Chiefs erased an early two-run deficit to post the nonconference win.

Omro led 2-0 after one before Shiocton scored once in the second, two in the third and one in the fourth. The Foxes cut the deficit to 4-3 in the fifth, but the Chiefs closed out the scoring with three runs in the sixth.

Kyler Rettler and Sydney Ritchie had three hits apiece, while Elizabeth Pelky drove in a pair of runs for Shiocton.

GIRLS SOCCER

Appleton West 1, Wisconsin Rapids 0

APPLETON – Addyson Knoebel scored on a penalty kick in the 53rd minute to lead the Terrors past the Raiders in nonconference action.

Kayda Aeby made five saves in goal for Appleton West.

Appleton North 1, De Pere 1

DE PERE – The Lightning got a goal in the second half from Brinley Dunsirn en route to a tie with the Redbirds.

Claire Zulewski had the assist for Appleton North.

Serena Jaber had 10 saves for the Lightning.

Kimberly 4, Bay Port 0

DE PERE – The Papermakers took a 1-0 lead in the first half on a header by Senah Hanes in the win over the Pirates.

Kimberly’s Abby Lom got the assist with the cross to Hanes.

Kimberly rolled in the second half, getting goals from Marie Van Zeeland, Hanes and Kennedy Ebben. Emily McCarthy and Brenna Wilson had assists on Van Zeeland’s and Ebben’s goals, respectively.

Notre Dame’s Joseph Hunt won the 800 and 1,600 with times of 1:51.91 and 4:25.98, respectively. Teammate James Flanigan won the shot put with a put of 50-10.5 and the discus with a throw of 175-11.

Peshtigo’s Ethan Brissette won the pole vault at a height of 14-0 and the 300 hurdles with a time of :42.26.

Notre Dame’s Danika Apple took first in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, winning with times of :12.08 and :26.04, respectively. Apple, along with Sydney Whitehouse, Madeline Rose and Julia Nolle, won the 400 relay with a time of :50.02. Whitehouse also got a first-place finish in the 300 hurdles with a time of :47.65.

New London’s Macy Reybrock won the 400 in 1:01.03. She teamed with Rianna Schultz, Maren Stepniak and Elsie Abba to win the 1,600 relay in 4:13.67.

Green Bay Southwest’s Delaney King won the discus with a throw of 111-2 and the shot put with a put of 37-3.25.

Kimberly’s Alejandro Pagan Vega won the 100-meter dash with a time of :11.17 and the 200 with a time of :22.68.

West De Pere’s Langdon Nordgaard took first in the 110 hurdles with a time of :15.18 and the 300 hurdles with a time of :40.63.

Winneconne’s Cody McLeod, Koltyn Kachur, Jack Quigley and Ryan Curran won the 800 relay in 1:31.75. McLeod, Curran and Quigley were joined by Ben Harmon to win the 1,600 relay in 3:28.16. Harmon teamed with Grant Wenzelow, Beau Gilbert and Reid Cross to win the 3,200 relay in 8:29.84.

GIRLS

Freedom’s Lydia Merrick swept the hurdles events. She won the 100 hurdles with a time of :16.67 and the 300 hurdles in :47.80. Merrick also won the high jump at a height of 5-0.

Xavier’s Lilie Fouts won the 1,600 and 3,200 with times of 5:09.62 and 11:21.37, respectively.

Kimberly’s Haley Stannard won the long jump with a jump of 16-2.5 and teamed with Lilly Schaefer, Theresa Behnke and Cadence Wadel to win the 400 relay with a time of :52.10. That same foursome won the 800 relay in 1:50.25.

Pulaski’s Madden Skenandore swept the hurdles events, winning the 110- and 300-meter hurdles with times of :15.48 and :42.11. respectively.

Ashwaubenon’s Charlie VanGheem won the 3,200-meter run with a time of 10:07.47. He also teamed with Andrew Shelly, Carter Thompson and Ryan Jadin to win the 3,200 relay in 8:50.03.

GIRLS

KAUKAUNA 209, PULASKI 123, WEST BEND WEST 117.5, HARTFORD 80, ASHWAUBENON 63, MOSINEE 34.5, WISCONSIN RAPIDS 31, MENASHA 17

Kaukauna won the 3,200 relay with the foursome of McKenna Lowe, Reese Fauske, Kaylee Behling and Josie Greenthal with a time of 10:31.31. Fauske also won the 3,200 in 11:27.62.

Pulaski’s Olivia Sprangers took first in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, winning with times of :13.10 and :26.68, respectively. Sprangers, along with Addison Krueger, Lily Urben and Rachael Allen, combined to win the 800 relay in 1:48.45. Urben won the 300 hurdles with a time of :49.33.

Ashwaubenon’s Thea Kral won the shot put with a put of 36-1 and the discus with a throw of 136-7.
