BASEBALL

De Pere 7, Pulaski 3

PULASKI – The Redbirds scored four runs in the seventh inning to pull out the Fox River Classic Conference win.

Devin Weber had two hits and two RBI for De Pere. Landon Raygo added two hits, including a double.

Lucas Koskey pitched 4⅓ innings and allowed two hits while striking out four. Weber pitched 2⅔ innings, gave up two hits and struck out two.

Freedom 6, Fox Valley Lutheran 0

APPLETON – Carson Clausen pitched six shutout innings of two-hit baseball to earn the North Eastern Conference victory for the Irish. Clausen struck out 12 and walked two.

Clausen also had two hits, including a double. Ryan Heran, Chase Calmes, Drew Kortz and Matt Eberhardt all had two hits for Freedom. Heran also drove in two runs.

Freedom improves to 11-9 overall and 7-7 in the conference. FVL drops to 8-5 in the conference.

Wrightstown 7, Oconto Falls 0

WRIGHTSTOWN – Trevor Vande Hey and Quade Thompson combined to pitch a three-hitter for the Tigers in the win over the Panthers.

Vande Hey pitched five innings, gave up one hit and struck out seven. Thompson pitched two innings, allowed two hits and struck out four.

Trent Vande Hey had two hits, including a double, for Wrightstown. Eli Lemke added a double and two RBI, and Jack Severson also drove in two runs.

Alec Krejcarek had a double for Oconto Falls.

Denmark 5, Waupaca 1

DENMARK – Grant Schroeder pitched a complete game to lead the Vikings past the Comets in North Eastern Conference action.

Schroeder allowed four hits, walked one and struck out 10.

Denmark scored in the first inning on a double steal and made it 2-0 in the third inning on Ebyn LaForest’s RBI single. Denmark made it 5-0 in the fifth on RBI singles by Braedyn Heezen and David Dittmer.

Heezen and LaForest finished with two hits apiece.

Henry Williams took the loss, pitching 4⅓ innings.

Denmark is 12-3 overall and 10-2 in the conference.

Shiocton 19, Manawa 0

SHIOCTON – James Mutchie and Ty Marcks combined to pitch a three-hit shutout for the Chiefs in the win over the Wolves.

Mutchie got the win with three innings. He allowed two hits and struck out six. Marcks pitched two innings, allowed one hit and struck out five.

Jackson Young had two hits and four RBI for Shiocton. Mutchie added two hits and three RBI. Blake Carton also had two hits and two RBI.

Bonduel 11, Weyauwega-Fremont 1

BONDUEL – The Bears scored four runs in the first inning and rolled to a five-inning victory over the Warhawks.

The Bears added four runs in the fifth inning to seal the 10-run win.

Brodie Hartmann pitched out of jams to get through four innings for the win. He allowed six hits, one run and struck out seven. Charlie Tauchen pitched the final inning.

The Bears were led at the plate by Beckett Hartlaben, Karson Stoss and Mason Zuleger with two hits each. Zuleger had a double.

Bonduel, which is 12-3 overall and 8-1 in the Central Wisconsin Conference-East, took advantage of 11 walks and had 13 stolen bases.

Crivitz 11, Niagara 1

CRIVITZ – Tegan Werner had a double, three RBI and scored three runs for the Wolverines in the win over the Badgers.

Crivitz had only five hits but benefited from 12 walks.

Jackson Schramm pitched 5⅔ innings for Crivitz. He allowed one hit, one run, walked five and struck out 13.

Easton Holmes had a hit and an RBI for Niagara.

Wausaukee 4, Coleman 1

WAUSAUKEE – The Rangers scored two runs in the second inning and two in the third in the win over the Cougars.

Callahan Betts and Evan Suennen combined to hold Coleman to one run. Betts got the win with four innings. He allowed four hits, one run and struck out three. Suennen pitched three innings, allowed two hits and struck out three.

Suennen, Ryan Wojcik and Connor Schroeder each had two hits.

Coleman got two hits from Cole Berth.

Wausaukee 8, Lena 6

WAUSAUKEE – The Rangers scored five runs in the fourth inning to go ahead 7-5 in the victory over the Wildcats.

Kyle Suennen had two hits and two RBI for Wausaukee. Seth Kraemer also drove in two runs.

Ryan Wojcik was the winning pitcher. He pitched 3⅓ innings, allowed one hit, an unearned run and struck out three.

Logan Graef and Anthony Seefeldt each drove in two runs for Lena.

SOFTBALL

De Pere 9, Notre Dame 3

DE PERE – Olivia Baugnet and Reese Kubick powered the Redbirds to the victory over the Tritons.

Baugnet was 4-for-4 with a double, an RBI and three runs scored. Kubick was 3-for-3 with two doubles and five RBI. Megan Zellner added two hits, including a double, and an RBI.

Reese Falish pitched a complete game for the win. She allowed six hits, three runs and struck out 10.

Notre Dame was led by Ella Gelb and Ava Massey, who had two hits. Gelb had a double and two RBI.

Green Bay Preble 11, Bay Port 1

GREEN BAY – Katie Geydoshek limited the Pirates to one run on four hits while striking out 11 batters to lead the Hornets to the victory in six innings.

Tenley Kuehn and Cara Schauer hit home runs for Preble. Sam Foytik and Hannah Von Haden recorded two hits apiece. Chloe Savage, Kuehn and Von Haden also had two RBI.

Denmark 9, Waupaca 1

DENMARK – Shaelyn Kraschnewski and Audrey Baugnet each had three hits to lead the Vikings to the victory over the Comets.

Ashlyn Schultz added two hits for Denmark.

St. Mary Catholic 10, Manitowoc Lutheran 6

MANITOWOC – The Zephyrs built a 9-1 lead and withstood a five-run rally by the Lancers to hold on for the victory.

A five-run sixth inning was the decisive inning for SMC, scoring five runs on seven hits. Jaylyn Akey drove in two runs in the inning.

Nevaeh Saringer pitched 6⅔ innings to register the win. She allowed seven hits, three earned runs and struck out seven.

Emily Vogel was 4-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI. Adel Schneider was 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored. Saringer added two hits, including a double, and three RBI. Akey, Sammi Weiss and Rhiannon Reichenbacher added two hits each.

Crivitz 10, Niagara 6

CRIVITZ – The Wolverines had 19 hits in the victory over the Badgers.

Taryn Tracy was 4-for-4, including two doubles, with three RBI. Kiya Brand was 4-for-5 with a double and three runs scored. Izabella Wesoloski added three hits, including two doubles, and two RBI. Isabelle Danielczak and Lillian Biundo had two hits each.

Niagara was led by Mallory Sanicki with two hits, including a double, and three RBI.
