BASEBALL

Bay Port 12, Pulaski 0

SUAMICO – Ethan Plog pitched five innings and struck out eight to lead the Pirates to a six-inning win over the Red Raiders.

Carter Kallies had two hits and three RBI for Bay Port. Caleb Schierl added two hits, including a three-run home run, and Cal Casper also had two hits.

Crivitz 5, Coleman 1

COLEMAN – In a battle for first place, Colten Tarmann doubled and drove in four runs as the Wolverines scored two in the first and three in the third to earn the victory in the Marinette & Oconto Conference Tournament championship game.

Tegan Werner added two hits for Crivitz.

Stephen Allard picked up the win on the mound, pitching all seven innings, allowing six hits, one earned run and two walks with three strikeouts.

Six different Cougars registered hits on the day.

Crivitz is now 11-3 in the M&O and 13-7 overall, while Coleman falls to 10-3 and 14-5.

SOFTBALL

Notre Dame 15, Little Chute 0

GREEN BAY – The Tritons made short work of the Mustangs in WIAA Division 2 regional quarterfinal action at Colburn Park, earning the three-inning win.

Addy Simpson earned the win in the circle, facing the minimum nine batters in three innings, allowing one hit while striking out three.

Leading the Notre Dame offense were Megan Gelb, who was 2-for-2 with two doubles, two runs scored and four RBI. Ella Gelb was 2-for-2 with four RBI and two runs scored, Madeline Hilts had a two-run homer, Kaia Waldrop was 2-for-2 with an RBI and three runs scored, and Ava Massey was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Laine Hietpas tripled to lead Little Chute.

Green Bay Preble 5, New Holstein 2

NEW HOLSTEIN – Tenley Kuehn and Lauren Prigge scattered eight hits and struck out seven for the Hornets in the nonconference win.

Kaitlyn Duchateau and Sam Foytik both hit two-run home runs and Hannah Von Haden and Katie Geydoshek recorded two hits apiece to lead the Preble offense.

Crivitz 2, St. Mary Catholic 0

CRIVITZ – The Wolverines scored single runs in the first and fourth innings in their win over the Zephyrs.

Isabelle Danielczak pitched a complete game for Crivitz, allowing one walk and five hits while striking out four to get the win.

Tayah Werner and Madelyn Welty both had two hits for Crivitz. Kirsten Pusick had a double.

Adel Schneider and Emily Vogel both had two hits for St. Mary Catholic.

Rhiannon Reichenbacher took the loss for the Zephyrs.

Mishicot 4, Bay Port 0 (Wednesday)

MISHICOT – Mishicot scored two runs in the first inning and two in the fifth in the victory over the Pirates.

Katelyn Callahan had three hits, including a double, and drove in a run for Mishicot. Cora Stodola had a home run and drove in two runs.

Kiran Sanford pitched a complete game for Mishicot. She allowed four hits, did not walk a batter and struck out 12.

Estelle Finlan was 3-for-3 for Bay Port.

Payton Dudra took the loss for the Pirates. She pitched six innings, allowed eight hits, four runs (three earned) and struck out six.

GIRLS SOCCER

Green Bay Southwest 1, Manitowoc 0

MANITOWOC – Autumn Nolle scored in the 38th minute unassisted to propel the Trojans past the Ships in Fox River Classic Conference action.

Southwest goalkeeper Gail Wery made two saves in net, while Manitowoc’s Julia Sieraki made five saves.

The win moves the Trojans to 4-7-3 overall and 3-5 in the FRCC, while the Ships fall to 5-12-1 and 0-7-1.

Waupaca 1, Luxemburg-Casco 0

WAUPACA – The Comets scored the lone goal of the game to earn the nonconference victory.

Goalkeeper Ashley Fameree made eight saves for Luxemburg-Casco.
