High school sports top performers of the week, who was best?

The fall season is in full swing now in high school sports with all sports seeing action.

The first week-plus saw some incredible performances from a lot of Holland-area athletes in a lot of different sports.

Who had the best performance? Vote for the top athlete of the week. Voting will go until noon Thursday each week.

Here is a little bit about each candidate:

Bryan Ramirez, Fennville soccer. Scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Zion Christian on Thursday.

Floyd Webb, Holland tennis. Earned a No. 1 singles win to lead the Dutch past Mona Shores 6-2 on Thursday.

Kaitlyn Geurink, Hamilton volleyball. Totaled 29 kills, 20 digs and six blocks to lead the Hawkeyes to a 4-0 mark at the Cedar Springs invite.

Camryn Siegers, Holland Christian swimming. Won the 100 backstroke (1:00.56) and 50 freestyle (24.39) in a meet against Hudsonville.

Dylan Becksvoort, Holland Christian tennis. Went undefeated in a tournament win at Traverse City St. Francis, which included several top-five teams in the state.

Isabelle Sliter, Fennville cross country. Finished second in the Midnight Division at the Under the Lights invite with a time of 19:19.7.

Alina Martinson, Saugatuck cross country. Finished fourth in the Midnight Division of the Under the Lights invite, finishing in 20:56.4.

Abatu Dykstra, Hamilton cross country. Won the Midnight Division boys race at the Under the Lights Invite with a time of 16:15.3.

Emma Drnek, Zeeland East cross country. Won the Starlight Division race at the Under the Lights Invite to kick off the season in a time of 18:29.6.

Will Engbers, Holland Christian cross country. Won the Starlight Division race at the Under the Lights Invite to kick off the season in a time of 15:45.7.

Helen Sachs, West Ottawa cross country. Won the Sunset Division race at the Under the Lights Invite to kick off the season in a time of 16:53.2, more than two minutes ahead of the field.

Makenzie Baldwin, West Ottawa swimming. Won the 200 freestyle (1:59.67) and 100 backstroke (58.74) in a meet against Zeeland.

Madison Ensing, Zeeland swimming. Won the 50 freestyle (24.09) and the 100 butterfly (59.07) in a win over West Ottawa.

Odis Fickel, Holland soccer. Had a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win over defending state champion Hudsonville Unity Christian.

Levi Rodriguez, Zeeland East soccer. Scored the goal in a 1-0 win over rival Zeeland West to lead the Chix to a 5-0 start to the season.
