High school students can work out for free this summer at Planet Fitness

(Gray News) – High school students can get a free gym membership this summer.

Planet Fitness is offering teens ages 14 to 19 a free membership to the gym this summer starting on June 1 with its High School Summer Pass. The free membership will last until Aug. 31.

Teens can register online or at their nearest Planet Fitness location. Teens younger than the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign an online waiver or accompany them at Planet Fitness to sign up.

Teens must download the Planet Fitness app to get a digital club pass and must work out at the location at which they sign up.

Planet Fitness recently announced that it would be increasing the price of its Classic membership from $10 to $15 a month. The price of its Black Club membership will stay at $25 a month.
