Holiday Travel in Bay County

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – This time of year everyone meets up to spend time with family and share stories over a good meal. This is why the days leading into Thanksgiving and the Sunday after are typically the busiest times of the year for travelers.

Heading into Thanksgiving week, ECP officials expected big crowds to fill the terminals.

Officials increased their shuttle activity to be better prepared for the busy weekend.

Before Thanksgiving, the parking lot was filled forcing officials to open the overflow lot.
