Homewood business surprises UA students with Crossing Points program
HOMEWOOD, Ala. (WBRC) – A sporting goods store in Homewood did something special on Sunday.
Hibbett Sports invited the graduating seniors from UA’s Crossing Points Program for mock interviews to prepare for job possibilities. And that’s not all; Hibbett provided students with new outfits for their upcoming interviews once they graduate from the program.
Crossing Points serves college-aged students with intellectual disabilities and provides with the resources they need to be successful in the working world. Crossing Points program leaders say the students had no idea and were totally surprised in a very good way.
