Strategic goals for 2025
For 2024, we have several key strategic goals that will drive the growth of Camino Network. First, we are focused on bringing more and more travel companies via the Camino Messenger, the new distribution platform. Lufthansa Group and many more companies from all kinds of verticals are already connecting – simply one connection is needed to sell and source globally in the whole Camino Network.
Additionally, we are preparing to launch Trav3l, a B2B framework inspired by the WeChat super app concept, which will simplify our partners’ access to various travel services on the Camino Network for their customers. Finally, we are working towards listing the Camino Token, which will serve as a global payment method within the network, further accelerating adoption and utility.
Lessons learned since founding
One key lesson we’ve learned is that change needs time. After the pandemic, many companies had to reprioritize their IT projects, delaying blockchain adoption. At the same time the hype around artificial intelligence shifted focus for many.
However, as reality set in, many companies realized their in-house systems weren’t ready for AI and are now turning back to more tangible solutions like blockchain. Interestingly, blockchain and AI complement each other well, and we’re seeing renewed interest in how these technologies can work together.
