NomadHer
is the community app for solo female travelers, encouraging safe travel. Think
of it as TripAdvisor meets Bumble BFF for women travelers. The platform allows
verified female travelers to connect, share insights, and participate in
organized women’s travel camps.
Strategic goals for 2025
We
are now building a strong business plan around our community of 300,000
members. Over the past year, we’ve established potential partnerships with
brands and tourism organizations interested in creating women-centric travel
experiences with us. Our key focus is on expanding our partnerships with
women-owned businesses in the travel sector.
In 2024 and 2025, we aim to
organize retreats and camps like the Women’s Surfing Camp in Busan and Bali, as
well as the Jeju Haenyeo camp. We plan to expand these programs across
strategic destinations including Seoul, Tokyo, Bali, Bangkok, and Paris.
Lessons learned since founding
In the beginning, many questioned the need for a platform
focused on solo female travelers. Today, with a community of over 300,000 women
worldwide, those questions have been answered. I’ve learned that focusing on
core values and our niche market was key to our success.
NomadHer’s members are
mostly from cities like Paris, New York, San Francisco, London and Barcelona,
and they are frequently traveling to cities like Seoul, Tokyo, Bali and Paris.
Through our conferences and discussions on women’s empowerment via travel, I’ve
realized the importance of staying true to our vision. When people believe in
your mission, they follow.
