Kate Hudson is a girls’ girl.

The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star, 45, has reportedly been supporting Jordyn Blum — Dave Grohl’s wife — after the Foo Fighters singer, 55, revealed on Tuesday, September 10, that he had fathered a child with another woman.

Hudson allegedly sent Blum, 48, “a huge basket of balloons with personalized phrases on them, including ‘Stay strong,'” to cheer her up, an inside source told the Daily Mail on Thursday, September 12.

“Kate told Jordyn she’s there for her 24/7 and not to hesitate to pick up the phone even if it’s for a good cry or if she needs her to come over for a hug and a heart to heart,” the source shared.

The insider reportedly also told the publication, “[Hudson] was surprised and disgusted that at Dave’s age he’s still cheating on not only Jordyn, but their girls too.”

Blum and Grohl have been married since 2003, and share daughters Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10. Violet and Harper seemingly deactivated their Instagram accounts after Grohl made his shocking announcement, as reported by Page Six.

Blum is quite private, so the details of her friendship with Hudson are not known. However, the two were seen together at the Adidas Stella McCartney Party in Los Angeles in February 2023. They also reportedly follow each other on social media.

Hudson and Blum could also have met through a rockstar connection — the Almost Famous star dated Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, with whom she shares son Bingham, 13, from 2010 to 2014.
