How EA Sports thinks Alabama’s 2024 depth chart will shake out

Alabama football is still over a week away from the beginning of preseason camp. However, the release of the EA Sports College Football 25 video game on July 19 necessitated the developers to make some assumptions about how the Crimson Tide’s depth chart will shake out.

Given the time of year, it was always going to be an imperfect effort. Even more so due to certain Alabama players not opting to appear in the game, with fictional players taking their places.

In listing its depth charts, EA also opted to stick with traditional position listings, instead of Alabama-specific groups. That means the Tide’s edge rushers are listed as outside linebackers, and all wideouts were placed on one list, instead of specific roles.

The depth chart and roster are subject to change with later updates. With all that understood, here’s how EA Sports predicted Alabama’s depth chart will end up.
