Kayla Barnes-Lentz, 33, and her husband, Warren Lentz, 36, have committed themselves to a unique lifestyle designed to extend their lifespans well beyond the average. Their goal? To live “healthily until the age of 150.” This ambitious pursuit is built around biohacking—a growing movement that integrates health optimization, advanced therapies, and a rigid daily routine.

Even before their marriage, Kayla, a wellness entrepreneur, ensured that Warren shared her passion for longevity. She didn’t just ask about his personality or goals; she sought detailed information about his health, biology, and fitness levels. “I asked for his labs on our second call,” she shared in an interview with The Independent, explaining how this approach helped her choose a compatible life partner. The couple now believes that biohacking will not only lengthen their lives but ensure they stay healthy for as long as possible.

Their goal differs from some in the biohacking community. “I don’t want to live forever,” Kayla emphasized. “I want to live as long as my husband does.”

A Strict Daily Routine

The couple’s routine, meticulously designed to optimize both body and mind, starts the moment they wake up. Warren is typically up first, but both prioritize morning workouts and sunlight. “We love to start our day with Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy,” Kayla explained. This clinical-grade device helps them prepare for the day ahead. Following this, they exercise together and take a morning walk to soak up the early sun, which they believe is essential for mental clarity and physical health.

Their breakfasts are homemade and organic, keeping with their commitment to clean eating. “We eat breakfast together after our workout,” Kayla said, highlighting the importance of consistency in their diet.

Afternoon Wellness Practices

Afternoons involve more sunlight and nature exposure, with mid-afternoon sunbathing being a regular part of their schedule. On days when Warren works from home, they incorporate a cold plunge—a quick dip into freezing water to stimulate their bodies and boost circulation.The couple alternates using a hyperbaric oxygen chamber in their home, a tool believed to enhance lung function and accelerate healing by helping the body absorb more oxygen. “It only fits one person at a time, so we take turns,” Kayla explained to The Independent. They also use a NanoVi device during the day, which claims to repair daily cell damage.

Evening Rituals and Early Bedtimes

Evenings are a carefully planned wind-down. The couple enjoys a 5:30 pm organic dinner that Kayla typically prepares. They follow this with another walk—often through nearby hills—before beginning their evening relaxation routine. A sauna session and switching their home’s lighting to red lights at sunset help prepare their bodies for sleep. By 9:00 pm, they are in bed, ensuring they get adequate rest.

Preparing for Parenthood

While living healthily until 150 is one goal, the couple is also preparing for another important chapter: parenthood. Kayla has spent years optimizing her body for pregnancy and has even helped Warren do the same. “We know that the health of both parents impacts the health of their children,” she said. Kayla plans to undergo extensive health tests during her pregnancy, hoping to gather new data that could benefit future mothers.

Their children, however, won’t be subjected to all the technology they use. “We want to simplify their lives,” Kayla shared, “with no screen time, playing outdoors, and being in nature.” She also expressed her excitement to teach them about the benefits of well-grown food and its powerful effects on their health.

The couple’s pursuit of longevity is part of the larger biohacking movement, which includes notable figures like Bryan Johnson, who has gone viral for his anti-aging techniques. While Kayla and Warren aren’t interested in such extreme measures—such as blood transfusions from younger donors—they do believe that their strict routine will give them the best chance at living long, healthy lives.

Their journey may seem extreme to some, but for Kayla and Warren, every step is a necessary part of their plan to defy aging and live life to the fullest for as long as possible.
