How to get tickets to sold-out Rolling Stones show at Jazz Fest, plus how much you’ll pay

The first weekend of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival has come and gone, but there’s still plenty of music, dancing, food and celebrity just around the corner.

On Thursday, the gates to the Fair Grounds will open once again as crowds gather to watch the festival headliner that’s been years in the making— the Rolling Stones.

The final three days of the city’s biggest festival will also feature other A-list artists like Hozier, Foo Fighters, Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band, Earth, Wind & Fire, and local favorite Trombone Shorty.

A majority of tickets for weekend two are sold out on the Jazz Fest official website, including ones for Rolling Stones. But, there’s still a few options if you’ve got your heart set on experiencing Jazz Fest this year.

Rolling Stones tickets

Tickets for Thursday, May 2, when the Rolling Stones perform, are no longer available. Tickets will not be available at the gate as they have been for some other Jazz Fest days.

Kids tickets are also sold out.

However, ticket resale sites like Seat Geek and Stub Hub had several May 2 general admission tickets listed for around $250 or more as of Monday.

General admission tickets for that day were originally priced at $225 plus fees.

Four-day weekend passes, which including Rolling Stones day, were much less plentiful on the resale market.

(Reminder: If you do attend Rolling Stones day, there’s extra limits on what you’re allowed to bring.)

Festival day-passes

Single-day Jazz Fest tickets are still available for May 3, 4 and 5.

They $95 plus fees through May if you buy in advance. The price increases to $105 at the gate.

Those single-day tickets are valid for any of the festival’s final three days.

Some three-day pass tickets (which exclude Rolling Stones day), were also still available on resale websites by Monday afternoon.
