How To Watch USA vs. Canada Hockey At The 2025 World Juniors Championships – FloHockey
The biggest group matchup transpires on Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve, when Team USA faces Team Canada to cap off group-stage play in the 2025 World Junior Championship.
Both teams will come into this game looking to secure the Group. They are both 2-1, having lost to Finland for the US and Latvia for Canada in overtime. However, they are both at least locked into the quarterfinals, being among two of the top four teams in Group A.
Team USA had its largest win over Germany on the first day of competition when they won 10-4, and team Canada owns two shutout victories in its wins over Germany and Finland.
Boston College sophomore and current New York Rangers prospect Gabe Perreault has had a fantastic WJC. He has scored two goals in the first three games for Team USA in his second consecutive year on the roster.
Team Canada is led by its Toronto Maple Leafs’ top prospect, Easton Cowan, who has knocked in a goal and gathered multiple assists through the preliminary round.
Here is what to know about the two teams before the last group stage game at the World Juniors 2025.
