HUGO x VCARB Unveil Formula One’s First Fashion-Inspired Livery in Over 30 Years | stupidDOPE

During the excitement of the Singapore Grand Prix, Visa Cash App RB (VCARB) and renowned fashion brand HUGO teamed up to make history, revealing Formula One’s first fashion-inspired livery in more than three decades. The custom denim design, a nod to HUGO’s iconic style, is the first of its kind since Benetton’s famous “united colors” livery in the 1990s. This collaboration showcases the growing intersection of fashion and high-performance motorsport, where style meets speed.

More than just a visual tweak to the racecar, this collaboration made its mark across the entire VCARB presence at the Grand Prix. The team garage was transformed into a denim-themed haven, bringing the fashion-forward livery to life off the track. Not to be outdone, drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda were decked out in custom HUGO racing suits, fully embracing the partnership with bespoke racing attire and casual outfits throughout the event.

Daniel Ricciardo, never one to shy away from bold moves, expressed his excitement over this trailblazing collaboration. “We’ve seen fashion brands pair up with F1 teams and drivers before, especially with off-track outfits, but this is a new level. We’re breaking boundaries and showing what’s possible when fashion and racing collide. I think this will inspire more fashion houses to bring their creativity to the racetrack in the future.”

For Yuki Tsunoda, a driver who’s always had a passion for fashion, this collaboration resonates on a personal level. “This partnership isn’t just about the car—it’s a reflection of who we are. At VCARB, we’re connecting with fans from all kinds of industries—art, music, and fashion. It’s about creativity and pushing limits,” Tsunoda shared.

This exciting fusion of fashion and racing comes at a time when cross-industry collaborations are becoming more prevalent, especially in high fashion and streetwear. The HUGO x VCARB partnership opens the door for more fashion-inspired moments on the racetrack, where performance meets style in unexpected and visually stunning ways.

Fans of both Formula One and fashion will no doubt be keeping an eye out for more bold moves like this in the future. As the lines between these worlds blur, the collaboration signals a bright future for creativity and expression in both industries. Fashion is no longer limited to the runway or the street—it’s now speeding down the track.
