T20 World Cup 2024 Opening Ceremony, Highlights: The USA have already kickstarted the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup with a bang, but the opening ceremony took place right before hosts West Indies’ opening match against Papua New Guinea in Guyana’s Providence Stadium. West Indies captain Rovman Powell won the toss and opted to bowl against PNG. A whole host of Caribbean DJs and singers headlined the opening ceremony, including the likes of David Rudder, Ravi B, Erphaan Alves, DJ Ana and Ultra.
