IIHF World Juniors Hockey Schedule, Watch Guide And Everything Else To Know – FloHockey

The best junior hockey tournament in the world begins on Dec. 26 in Ottawa, Canada as the United States looks to repeat as champions at the 2025 World Junior Championships.

USA Hockey is trying to win back-to-back WJC for the first time since Canada did the same in 2022 and 2023. Altogether, a win in 2025 would be the seventh WJC title as they try to chase host Canada, which has won the WJC 20 times.

But Team Canada is looking for some redemption in 2025 after a disastrous 2024 tournament where they were stunned in the quarterfinals by Czechia 3-2.

Here’s everything to know about the 2025 WJC.

Who Is In 2025 WJC Group A?

USA Hockey is in Group A along with Germany, Finland, Canada and Latvia.

Who Is In 2025 WJC Group B?

Group B consists of Slovakia, Sweden, Czechia, Switzerland and Kazakhstan.
