Illinois Lt. Governor Stratton meets with minority business owners
CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) – Illinois Lt. Governor Juliana Stratton has been on a two-day southern Illinois tour.
Stratton made a stop in Carbondale on Thursday to talk with the Black Chamber of Commerce of Southern Illinois to discuss support for minority-owned businesses and strategies to promote economic growth in the region.
Stratton says all small businesses are vital for southern Illinois communities.
The Lt. Governor is expected to continue her tour of southern Illinois on Friday morning visiting Vienna High School and the city of Metropolis.
