I’m 5’1” and I Can’t Stop Wearing These $50 Quince Jeans
I tried the Stretch Mid Rise Slim Straight Jeans in a 26-inch inseam, and they fit like a glove. Among the things I like: the very slight stretch, which means they have give in the butt and thighs, but don’t sag in the knees; the straight ankle-length leg, which is a nice balance between an old-fashioned skinny jean and a more modern silhouette; the dark indigo wash, which makes them work and evening appropriate. If you look closely, you can see that the denim is slightly thinner than a luxury brand, and I don’t know how they’ll hold up to years of use. That said, I’ve had them for two months and have washed them two times (don’t judge me!), and they still look good as new—no fading, no puckering.
Mostly, I find myself wearing them everywhere. They’re comfortable enough for airplanes and dressy enough for dinner out, and could easily pass for a more expensive brand.
Oh, and they fit me without the help of a tailor. (Sorry, tailor.)
