I’m a 50+ skin-care expert: Here’s what I’m shopping in Amazon’s secret sale

Even for a beauty editor like me, knowing which makeup and skin-care sales are worth my time can be challenging. But I can tell you from experience: Amazon’s Holiday Beauty Haul — now in its fourth year — is reliably one of the best, if least-known, sales arpund. From now until Nov. 3, the retailer is offering steep discounts on trusted brands many of us love, like CosRx, Sunday Riley, Neutrogena and CeraVe.

As someone who tests anti-aging skin care for a living, I’m constantly shifting my focus to meet seasonal needs. And right now, I’ve got my eye on ultra-hydrating products to help soothe cold-weather skin, particularly those that work well for aging faces and necks. I spend hours each week scouring the internet for cleansers, serums and creams that firm, brighten and add moisture — ideally those I can snag on sale.

Over the next two weeks, Amazon is offering literally thousands of deals on name-brand (and very much not name-brand) beauty products. However, not all skin care is created equal.
