I’m the ‘world’s best gambler’ & will bag $3m if Donald Trump wins election
The self-proclaimed world’s best gambler who claims he won $3 million betting on Joe Biden to be president four years ago has revealed he is betting on Donald Trump this time round.
Sean Perry has forged a career as a high-stakes gambler and poker player – claiming to take in an eye-watering eight figures in winnings every year.
The 27-year-old Las Vegas native made headlines earlier this year after losing a million dollar bet on the Super Bowl in February.
However he claims losing seven-figure sums is “just another day” and it no longer stresses him out – as he’s numb to the ups and downs and back himself to be on top long term.
The poker prodigy began playing the card game as a small child thanks to the influence of his father, World Series of Poker bracelet winner Ralph Perry, and won his first major tournament at just 12.
After dropping out of college to play professional poker full-time, Sean went on to become the third-best-ranked poker player in the world in 2021 before discovering the world of sports betting.
One of Sean’s most notable victories was winning a stratospheric $3 million bet on the US presidential election in 2020, correctly wagering Joe Biden would land the top spot over Trump.
But the 2024 election will see Sean putting his money on former President Trump to be re-elected by the American people.
Sean said, “I’ll be betting on Trump this time. I’m expected to make probably over $3 million.
“I’m always betting as big as I possibly can on every event. One of my biggest bets ever was the 2020 presidential election.
“I bet on Biden becoming president and I won. I won a lot of money – it was my biggest bet ever. Everyone was betting on Trump.
“The money is definitely a reward – I always keep trying to gamble bigger and bigger. I’ve always been money-driven growing up. When I gamble, I gamble massive.”
But Sean insists he isn’t your typical gambler – opting to live a teetotal lifestyle void of drugs and alcohol to maintain his position at the top.
Sean said, “I’m not your typical gambler, I do zero drugs, zero alcohol. I wake up every morning at 5.30am to watch the sunrise. I’m a huge nerd.
“While my friends all wanted to go out drinking growing up, I just wanted to watch my dad play poker and sneak into the casinos. The gambling comes into my bloodline.”
Despite losing and earning millions of dollars in bets over the years, Sean says he’s numb to the outcome of his wagers.
Sean said, “I’ve earned $7,000,000 in poker winnings and make eight figures a year in sports winnings. The sports world is way more lucrative.
“I’ve lost millions of dollars on bets before. Losing a million on the Super Bowl wasn’t actually my biggest loss. I’ve played in a poker game before and lost $6,000,000 in a day. I gamble massive.
“I didn’t really care about the outcome of the game, I know long-term I’ll make money. It’s like trading stocks. Losing seven figures in one day doesn’t affect me, it’s another day in the life. I’m not a degenerate gambler.
“I’m gambling every single day – I’m numb to the winnings and numb to the losses. I love what I do – I’m living my dream.”
Sean says his notable success has even led Las Vegas casinos to limit the value of bets he can place out of fear he may bankrupt the venues.
Sean said, “All the Vegas casinos limit me massively if I play there. Almost every casino in Vegas has drastically reduced my limits. It’s out of fear I’ll bankrupt them – they know I’m a winning bettor.”
And Sean’s high-earning job has afforded him multiple houses and supercars – including a Rolls-Royce, Tesla, Lamborghini, and more than 10 properties.
But playing at the top can often attract backlash by those who are envious of Sean’s success.
Sean said, “If you don’t have a lot of haters then you’re doing something wrong. There are a lot of people in this world who are envious of people.
“You should never let someone who’s below you affect you. The more haters I have, the better things are going for me.
“I’m the best bettor in the world. I’m happy to bet against anyone – I put an open challenge out there.”
