Inside the twisted social media world of Paige Bueckers’ alleged stalker

Paige Bueckers’ alleged stalker and harasser wrote in a TikTok post that he would “sacrifice” an unidentified person among a series of chilling posts involving the UConn women’s star.

“This is worth it for this guy, huh? … this is just one guy, I’ll sacrifice him, no problems, no questions asked,” Robert Cole Parmalee posted on TikTok, as captured by The Associated Press.

Parmalee, 40, was arrested on Sept. 13 by UConn police and was charged with breach of peace, electronic stalking and harassment, according to ESPN.

He appeared in court Monday and was held on a $100,000 bond, per the report.

Parmalee had previously been arrested on Aug. 27 outside of Bradley International Airport in Hartford and was found to have an engagement ring and lingerie in his possession, as reported by the AP via police reports.

He told police he had taken a flight from the Pacific Northwest to meet with Bueckers.

There had been an outstanding arrest warrant from Josephine County, Ore., that alleged he set a home on fire that had people and pets inside it at the time, police told the Associated Press.

Before leaving for Connecticut, Parmalee, whose last-known residences were in Oregon and Washington, per the AP report, had posted on social media regarding his intentions to marry Bueckers.

In one post, Parmalee wrote that if he could not be with Bueckers, “I will choose to die, and I will choose to take all of you that pose me, oppose us, to hell,” per the Associated Press.

Police reports stated he also wrote “if you allow them to touch you, you allow them to die.”

On Aug. 25, he posted to his TikTok account a marriage invitation for him and Bueckers, writing: “I love you Lady Paige Maidson Bueckers, will you merry me and be my wife?”

That post includes photos of him holding a ring, posing with it in his mouth and a photo of Bueckers.

His post on Aug. 27, before his initial arrest, included photos of himself seemingly in an airport holding a ticket.

“I’m coming to UCONN Paige Madison Bueckers, I’ll be in Hartford tomorrow morning,” he wrote.

In addition to his posts, Parmalee had been emailing UConn officials with what the campus police described as “rambling comments,” according to ESPN.

Bueckers, labeled as “V1,” said she had been receiving messages since February which she did not respond to, but she worried for her, her family and her teammates’ safety after his Connecticut arrest.

One of Parmalee’s social media posts mentioned him discussing bringing Bueckers flowers and finding her mother’s home.

Bueckers, 22, is entering her fifth season at UConn and projects as one of the top college basketball players in the country this upcoming season.

“Parmalee has shown a continual, escalating behavior and directed effort to make electronic postings about V1 and threats against those close with V1 which has caused emotional distress over the past two weeks for V1,” a UConn police officer wrote in an affidavit, as reported by the AP.

The Rockville, Conn., court ruled for Parmalee to stay away from “P.B.” and he has been banned from UConn’s campus in Storrs.

Parmalee has previously been arrested for misdemeanor sexual abuse, harassment, burglary, driving under the influence and possession of methamphetamine, as documented in police reports, via the AP.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 22 at Connecticut Superior Court in Rockville, per ESPN.
