Inside Vogue Club’s Forces of Fashion After-Party
Vogue Club members flocked to The Times Square EDITION for Vogue Club’s Forces of Fashion after-party, presented by Luxury Group by Marriott International—and hosted by none other than Vogue it-girl, Senior Fashion Editor Naomi Elizée.
As Vogue Club members and Vogue staffers filled the room with a bubbling ambiance, a smidgen further uptown, twin sisters Dynasty and Soull Ogun (L’Enchanteur) were announced as the winners of the 2024 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund (CVFF), along with runners-up Jackson Wiederhoeft (Wiederhoeft) and Spencer Phipps (Phipps).
As whispers of a heaving party in Midtown trickled through the streets of New York, the lot of emerging and established designers—alongside friends of the fashion industry—descended upon Vogue Club’s exclusive after-party eager to celebrate the well-deserved winners and runners-up.
Isan Elba of Les Filles performed a live DJ set, while across the room, artist Rebecca Schneider created stunning fashion portraits. Meanwhile, celebrated film photographer Andrew Tess shot Polaroids of guests—something members took home as souvenirs of the night.
Notable attendees included Zerina Aekers, Kim Shui, Tanner Richie, Fletcher Kasell, Fe Noel, Presley Oldham, Edvin Thompson (Theophilio), Taofeek Abijako (Head of State), Marianne and Sebastien Amisial (Sebastien Ami), Connor McKnight, and Smith McLean (Wiederhoeft), alongside editors from Vogue and GQ.
Now in its eighth year—and unfolding across eight cities—Forces of Fashion returned to Vogue’s HQ in New York on Wednesday. The day’s impressive programming packed a punch: Simon Porte Jacquemus detailed his journey from a boyhood in the south of France to founding a major fashion house at 18; the audience at Dame Pat McGrath’s session oohed and ahhed as she hand-painted models’ faces, recreating iconic beauty looks from the runway—all topped off by lively conversations with Victoria Beckham, Nicki Minaj, Jean Paul Gaultier, and many more.
