Iowa farmers shown appreciation by Clear Lake business

CLEAR LAKE, Iowa (KTTC) – Throughout October, employees from Pritchard Family Auto Stores are delivering around 800 boxed lunches to farmers across the North Iowa region.

Lunches are being hand delivered to local farm workers, including farm hands, as an “outreach effort to show appreciation for the hard work they put in this time of the year.”

“Farmers are an integral part of Iowa’s economy, and the backbone of the workforce,” said Matt Bradley, Pritchard Companies Chief Marketing Officer. “We want to make sure they feel appreciated, but it’s also something we appreciate doing. Our long-term employees look forward to this every year, and newer employees are always excited to go out for the first time.”

Meals this year were specially prepared and provided by Legacy Golf Course at the 19 and Chef David Baruthio from Maitre Cuisinier de France.
