Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC), a Carlsbad, California-based program administrator specializing in multi-line insurance products, has announced the appointment of Ashley Gonzalez (pictured above) as vice president of entertainment.

Gonzalez will play a key role in expanding ISC’s Abacus distribution, enhancing relationships with existing brokers, and identifying new program opportunities that align with the company’s core operations.

ISC acquired Abacus, a managing general agency focused on entertainment and event insurance, in 2021.

Gonzalez brings a diverse background in underwriting and business development to her new role at ISC, along with deep knowledge of the entertainment market. She began her career at Allstate, supporting regional management and developing new agencies, before transitioning to the underwriting side of the business at Philadelphia Insurance Company.

Her career progressed at Chubb, where she expanded her expertise to include multinational products, excess and umbrella coverage, and high-net-worth personal lines. She later joined CNA, focusing on allied health and medical malpractice programs.

In 2017, Gonzalez moved to Los Angeles and joined Hiscox, where she became involved with the entertainment and media team. During the pandemic, she led the team to significant growth while supporting various aspects of the entertainment business unit.

Her achievements at Hiscox led to her promotion to business development leader, overseeing national sales initiatives for all lines of business, both digital and traditional retail trade.

Matt Grossberg, founder and CEO of ISC, said that Gonzalez’s extensive experience will contribute to accelerating growth, expanding broker partnerships, and strengthening ISC’s position in the entertainment insurance sector.
