Islander News travels to Okavango Delta in Botswana

A group of locals, including Key Bicayners Alexandra and Christos Lagos, recently traveled to a safari in the Okavango Delta in Botswana and took their Islander along for the trip.

An Okavango Delta Safari offers an immersive experience in one of Africa’s most pristine wilderness areas. Known for its seasonal flooding that transforms the region into a lush, animal-rich landscape, providing a diverse habitat for a wide range of wildlife.

Alexandra Lagos shared this group photograph, that includes Key Biscayne residents The Honorable Mercedes Armas Bach, Dr Jay Skyler, The Honorable Marcus Bach Armas and his wife Lara Bueso Bach (and their children Ariana and Elena Bach), Alexandra and Christos Lagos (and their children Nicholas and Marcos Lagos).

Also pictured is Dr. Jennifer Skyler, who lived on the key for 25 years until 2007, and now lives in Colorado, her husband Daniel Lebowitz and their children Isaac and Avi Lebowitz.

Thank you for sharing, Alexandra.
