Islip High Students Got Fancy For Annual Fashion Fundraiser

ISLIP, NY — Islip High School students hit the runway recently for the annual PTSA fundraiser fashion show that raised nearly $300 to support student scholarships and events.

While some students strutted their stuff in evening gowns, senior Lucas Bohr served as the master of ceremonies.

“As always, the students who modeled and those who helped set up, organize and run the show did a fantastic job,” PTSA President Stacey Zurbaran said.

Community members also donated their time, as Suffolk County Legislator Samuel Gonzalez acted as guest announcer and dresses were donated by the Town of Islip Youth Bureau, Sweet Simplicity of Islip, and Nalu Dry Goods in Bay Shore.
