It’s the Cheapest Week to Travel This Summer, and 96% of Americans Have No Idea

Now, Skyscanner is revealing that one particular week in all of summer 2024 will offer the cheapest travel prices compared to all others.
A new report from Skyscanner shows that the week of August 19 will be the cheapest week of summer to fly, but 96% of Americans won’t be taking advantage of it. You can save an average of 29% when traveling the week of August 19 instead of the week of July 1, which is the busiest and most expensive week to travel during the summer.
It is also the range of time that Kayak recommends as the cheapest period to travel this summer, so it is widely agreed upon that you can save money by traveling later this summer. This is valuable intel, considering that 35% of Americans still haven’t booked their summer travel, according to a One Poll survey of 2,000 Americans.
