Jake’s Gambling Pit: Week 12
YTD: 39-31-1
We had quite the Saturday going 4-1, and up +7.6 Units for the year.
Nebraska at USC -9.5 50.5
Bet this game right now. There are a ton of distractions at USC. Players walking out of practice, Miller Moss benched, and to top it all off they are on probation. Now it isn’t all sunshine at Nebraska, but they still have a great defense and culture built by Matt Rhule. The Huskers at the very least will keep this close.
Nebraska +9.5
Utah at Colorado -10 47.5
Deion Sander’s Buffs look like they have figured out. They aren’t just winning games, but doing it in style. Utah has underachieved to put it lightly. The offense just cant seem to get in a groove, but might be able to find success against Colorado’s weak front. After last week’s loss to their bitter rival BYU, Utah will be looking to take out their aggression on the Buffaloes, who are “riding high” and may be caught off guard.
Utah +10
Mizzou at South Carolina -12 44.5
With their great defensive line and versatile quarterback in LaNorris Seller, South Carolina has improved to 6-3 and was a few plays away from being 8-1. Mizzou is 7-2 but hasn’t looked like the same explosive team as last season. The Tigers are coming off of a big emotional win against Oklahoma but have to enter the confines of “Willie B”. Shane Beamer’s Cocks will create chaos in Mizzou’s backfield, and once the Tigers get down, I don’t see them rallying back.
South Carolina -12
Kansas at BYU -3 55.5
Here is another line that doesn’t make sense. BYU is undefeated and they are only giving 3 points at home to 3 win Kansas. The Jayhawks are playing much better than in the beginning of the year putting up 45 points against Iowa State last week. The public will be piling on BYU. If this is your first time reading the blog you should know that we fade the public here.
Kansas +3
