Jake’s Gambling Pit Week 4

It’s week 4  of the College Football season, and I LOVE the slate.

YTD: 10-8-1 +1.6 Units

Bowling Green at Texas A&M -22.5 O/U52.5

I watched Bowling Green sling the ball through the air against with ease in the first half against Penn State. The Falcons have a HUGE offensive line, a 6th-year QB in Bazelak, and a future NFL tight end in Harold Fannin. 22.5 points is a lot of points to lay with the Aggie offense being a mystery at best.

Bowling Green +22.5

Tennessee at Oklahoma +7 O/U 57.5

I’m extremely high on the Volunteers and down on the Sooners. Oklahoma struggled with Houston in week 2, and Tennessee dominated NC State. Tennessee’s offense has looked elite, and has a scary pass rush. Oklahoma still doesn’t have it all together quite yet, and it will show on Saturday. The Vols are going to send another statement, this time to the SEC.

Tennessee +7

Iowa at Minnesota +2.5 O/U 35.5

It’s the Floyd of Rosedale, and this screams under with how both these offenses can sputter. Iowa’s defense will be the difference maker. Their front seven is amongst the best in the country, and with the Gophers still working out the kinks, the Hawkeyes have the edge.

Iowa -2.5 Under 35.5

Utah at Oklahoma State +2 O/U54

The big news out of Salt Lake City is that 6th year senior Cam Rising is cleared to play. This is a huge matchup in Stillwater that will set the table for the rest of the year for the Big 12. The Cowboys had a scare against Arkansas, and even though the Utes offense might not be as dynamic, the defense is going to be stout. Utah’s defense gets a few stops late to take the driver seat of the Big 12.

Utah -2
