On Dec. 19, several agencies including the City of Vallejo, Greater Vallejo Recreation District, and Vallejo Flood & Wastewater District teamed up to dedicate the newly-renovated Lake Dalwigk Park on the corner of Fifth and Lemon streets in South Vallejo. The $4.7 million improvement was funded by the California Department of Transportation Clean CA Local Grant Cycle 1, which will also provide $352,000 in Cycle 2 funds to transform downtown’s high visibility areas. On Dec. 19, over 200 guests celebrated Supervisor Erin Hannigan's 17 years of dedicated public service including the last 12 years of distinguished service on the Solano County Board of Supervisors.
