JEFFERSON CITY – The Jefferson City Jays travelled to Blair Oaks’ High School to take on the Falcons Monday night, where they won 3-2.
Blair Oaks’ got on the board first in the bottom of the third when freshman Vander Halford scored junior Evan McCullough.
The Falcons were also able to capitalize off of a balk from the Jays’s pitcher, putting them up 2-0.
The Jays quickly responded with three runs of their own in the top of the fourth. Junior Adam Scheperle, sophomore Ryan Meyer, and senior Ryan Tadsen edged the Jays forward, and no more runs were scored for either team.
Blair Oaks will face Hallsville Tuesday back at home while Jefferson City will face Father Tolton at home Tuesday as well.
