Jennifer Lawrence makes major life announcement
Jennifer Lawrence is expanding her family.
The Oscar winner is pregnant with her second baby, according to her rep who confirmed the exciting news to Vogue on Sunday.
The announcement comes hours after the 34-year-old was photographed with a baby bump under a white T-shirt and wearing black pants while out to dinner in Los Angeles.
“Congratulations are in order for Jennifer Lawrence! The Oscar-winning actor will be welcoming her second child with art gallerist husband Cooke Maroney,” the magazine wrote in the caption of a now-deleted Instagram post.
The outing took place on her and her husband’s fifth wedding anniversary. The couple married in Newport, Rhode Island, in October 2019 and share a son, Cy, 2, whom they welcomed in February 2022.
In 2022, the “Hunger Games” star revealed Cy is named after American painter Cy Twombly, a favorite artist of her art gallery director husband.
At the time, Lawrence openly discussed motherhood with Vogue.
“It’s so scary to talk about motherhood,” the actress said to the magazine. “Only because it’s so different for everybody.”
“The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had started over. Like, now is day one of my life. I just stared. I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing. They‘re these pink, swollen, fragile little survivors. Now I love all babies. Now I hear a baby crying in a restaurant and I‘m like, ’Awwww, preciousssss’,” she said.
