Jennifer Lopez Does Laid-Back Glamour in a Patchwork Denim Skirt

Following her recent divorce from Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez is taking time for herself.

The Atlas actor indulged in some retail therapy over the weekend, stepping out at the Century City Mall in Los Angeles with her child Emme and a few friends. For the occasion on Sunday, she wore her signature boho shopping uniform, this time opting for a ‘70s-inspired look.

Up top, she wore a loose, ivory tank top embellished with clear sequins, which she partially tucked into a patchwork chambray skirt. A number of different denim washes decorated the tiered maxi skirt, and its flared silhouette nearly covered up the singer’s metallic gold sandals. Luckily, she wore a number of glittering accessories to make up for that fact.

What to Shop This Week

True to her glamourous reputation, J.Lo layered several gold pendant necklaces on her chest, and flaunted a stack of gold bracelets on her wrist. Though most of her face was blocked out by her large Gucci sunglasses, her go-to gold hoops could still be spotted peeking out of her straightened hairstyle. And in lieu of her lineup of Birkins, Lopez shouldered a Dior Saddle bag, made up in a denim jacquard pattern to match her skirt.

If her laid-back look wasn’t proof enough, the star hinted at how “unbothered” she was earlier this weekend. On Saturday, she shared a post on Instagram that included quotes like, “Everything is unfolding in divine order,” alluding to her feelings about her divorce from Affleck. A more direct message came through in a photo of Lopez wearing a graphic tee, which read: “she’s in bloom and unbothered / out of reach and at peace.”
