Jackson, Western, Marshall at Coldwater Invitational: The event was rained out as most teams played only 13 to 14 holes at Coldwater.

Lumen Christi Tri-Meet: The Titans finished third at home Thursday against Ann Arbor Greenhills and Orchard Lake St. Mary’s. Lumen Christi shot 229 at Cascades Golf Course led by Kathleen McClure with a 50.

College Athletic Events

 Cross Country

Jackson College at MCCAA East at Macomb: Nathan Blondke finished 26th overall in the 8K with a time of 31:29 for Jackson College in the MCCAA East meet. Teammates Noah Blondke (33:45) and Jacob Normal (34:13) placed 31st and 32nd respectively. Jessica Furman of JC finished 15th overall in the women’s 5K event in 24:47. Sheilyn Rayas (28:36) and Sara Hoop (28:51) placed 21st and 22nd, respectively for the Jets. Jackson College will run in the Siena Heights University Invitational next Friday with a yet-to-be-determined time.

Spring Arbor at Lansing Invitational: Spring Arbor finished eighth in the women’s event at Lansing. Lillian Briggs finished 34th in the 5K event with a time of 21:45.

Men’s Golf

Jackson College at Kirtland Invitational: The Jets finished fourth out of 12 teams at Grayling Country Club Friday. Michael Klintworth shot a 73 to lead the Jets. Other scorers were J.J. Miller, Cooper Johnston, and Ted Trujillo with 82s, and Eric Bonser scoring an 84 for Jackson.  The Jets will compete in the Delta College Invitational next Friday with a 10 a.m. tee time.
