Justin Timberlake’s Lawyer To “Vigorously” Defend Star In DWI Case

Justin Timberlake’s lawyer has vowed to “vigorously defend” the pop star following his recent arrest for driving while intoxicated. Timberlake, 43, was detained just after midnight in Sag Harbor, a popular celebrity enclave in the Hamptons, New York. He was charged with running a stop sign and failing to stay on the right side of the road, and later released without bail. Timberlake’s attorney, Edward Burke Jr, stated, “I look forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake on these allegations.” The singer was found with “bloodshot and glassy” eyes and exhibited signs of intoxication, also refusing a breathalyzer test at the scene. Timberlake, who has had past struggles with alcohol, faces significant penalties if convicted, including jail time and a suspended driver’s license. His court appearance on July 26 coincides with his world tour launch in Krakow, Poland.
