Kacey Musgraves surprises guests at Robert’s Western World after Zach Bryan show

Saturday night’s Zach Bryan concert caused a social media storm on multiple levels.

Foremost, Kacey Musgraves had a night out in Music City.

Having finished up the U.K. leg of her “Deeper Well” album tour six weeks ago, the Grammy-winning country and pop superstar has recently taken to making guest appearances to perform her 2024 Best Country Duo/Group Performance Grammy-winner “I Remember Everything” onstage with Zach Bryan during his current “Quittin’ Time” tour.

On Saturday night, Bryan’s proximity to her suburban Nashville home made making an appearance considerably easier than her showing up in Chicago nearly four months ago at the United Center to help Bryan kick off his tour.

Clad in a two-piece denim short set and knee-high denim cowboy boots, she received a deafening ovation at Nissan Stadium on Saturday night for her performance.

She wasn’t done yet.

As star performers often do, she also appeared — after having swapped boots for a pair of DanielXDiamond “Yellowstone” knee highs with the same top and shorts two hours after being onstage with Bryan — across the Cumberland River on Lower Broadway at Robert’s Western World.

There, she joined the band onstage to perform a take on Buck Owens’ six-decade-old hit “Act Naturally.”

Famously, four years ago, supermodel Gigi Hadid joined Musgraves at Robert’s following the 2019 Country Music Association Awards on Nov. 13, 2019.

“Nashville and you @spaceykacey,” stated Hadid via Instagram. “Learned to two-step. V [sic] proud. Ate fried pickles. Attempted the guitar. Spent the rest of the night on the bongos. Was a good one.”

Hailey Welch appears for ‘Revival’

Zach Bryan’s been having fun with guests on tour in other ways, too.

On May 3, in St. Louis, “Rich Baby Daddy” rapper Sexyy Red was brought onstage at the Enterprise Center during his encore performance on “Revival” and she danced provocatively to the roar of a stunned audience.

“HOME OF @sexyyred. Thank y’all so much for coming and you always got friends in us,” stated Bryan via Instagram afterward.

In Nashville, Hailey Welch, a native of the city’s suburbs who has gained considerable social media fame in the past two weeks for memorably uttering a sexually explicit phrase, appeared with Bryan at Nissan Stadium and his band for “Revivial.”

Bryan joins podcaster Joe Rogan, golfer Bryson DeChambeau, gymnast Olivia Dunne, baseball star Bryce Harper and mixed martial arts champion Conor McGregor among many notable people referencing Welch’s sudden acclaim.

Welch’s brand manager Jason Poteete told Rolling Stone that she had sold roughly $70,000 in merchandise since June 19.

Bryan’s tour continues across North American venues nationwide, including three nights at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena and two nights at the Barclays Center in New York.

“I’ve got no grand explanation for these songs, I got no riddle in the reasoning behind writing them, I don’t have a … roll-out plan to stuff it in front of as many people as I can,” Bryan said.

“I just wrote some poems and songs I want to share because I think they’re special. Some are heavy, some are hopeful, but more than anything, what’s most important to me is that they’re all mine. If people listen to it, I’ll be grateful; if people don’t, I’ll still be grateful because I got the chance in this life to be original when it mattered.”
