Kate Beckinsale kicks off London Fashion Week in sculptural corset

Kate Beckinsale appears ready for battle.

The actress, 51, kicked off London Fashion Week on Thursday, sporting a structural, armor-like corset for Harris Reed’s spring/summer 2025 runway show.

The black and metallic design was slightly cropped and low-cut at the bust, but came to a point in the middle at both the top and bottom, giving it a slight medieval feel.

Beckinsale paired the form-fitting piece with a body-hugging, black maxi skirt and extreme platform heels, showing off the eye-catching ensemble as she posed for the cameras.

Still, the “Pearl Harbor” star’s outfit wasn’t without accessories.

Pulling her hair up and back into a structural ‘do, she showed off shiny, elaborate drop earrings.

Her simple makeup allowed the outfit the steal the spotlight with a pink lip providing the final, colorful touch.

Once inside The Tanks at Tate Modern, Beckinsale took her seat in the front row next to other notable stars such as “House of Dragon” actress Bethany Antonia and singer Elie Goulding.

“The angelic and sublimely talented @harris_reed kicking off London fashion week like a rockstar🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍,” she wrote on Instagram later. “(last time we saw each other in person it was in my garden and one of us was 7 years old and it wasn’t me.)”

“You look absolutely majestic 🥹 glowing, yet dark!” one person commented, while another wrote “Becks!!! Elegance & Beauty!!!”

The mom of one has been known to love a bold look, often walking the red carpet in dresses with big bow details or posting statement-making swimsuits to social media.

At the end of August, she even debuted pink pastel hair, but has since returned to her usual brown color with golden highlights.

After spending time in the hospital last March, Beckinsale took to her Instagram comments over the summer to reveal the reason behind her stay.

“I watched my stepfather [director Roy Battersby] die quite shockingly, my mother has stage 4 cancer, and I lost a lot of weight from stress and grief, quite quickly,” she fired back after people criticized her weight loss.

“I found eating very hard and I just worked very very hard on a movie that was actually quite triggering because it also involved the theme of the death of my father so I’m not really concerned about what you think about my ass.”
