Katy Perry Unveils ‘Woman’s World’ Lyrics on 500-Foot Dress Train in Paris
Pop icon announced her comeback single earlier this month
Katy Perry is teasing her new era in the most Katy Perry way: with a 500-foot train featuring her new song’s lyrics printed on it. On Tuesday, the musician was spotted arriving at Paris’ Vendôme for Fashion Week teasing the lyrics to “Woman’s World,” her single out July 11.
Perry could be seen exiting a limousine while wearing a red dress that included a seemingly never-ending train with the lyrics to her comeback single. Perry waved to fans before displaying the lyrics as she walked into the venue.
“She’s a winner, champion/Superhuman, Number One/She’s a sister, she’s mother,” read some of the lyrics. “Open your eyes, just look around and you’ll discover/You know/It’s a woman’s world and you’re lucky to be living in it.”
The new videos from Perry in Paris come after she strutted in the Vogue World show Monday. She was also spotted greeting fans as she told them she’d be “coming back” to France for her next tour.
The lyric display come about a week after Rolling Stone reported that Perry had reconnected with Dr. Luke, Max Martin, and Stargate, who helped make hits on her albums Teenage Dream and Prism. “Katy knew exactly the album she wanted to make and put together the team to make it happen,” a Capitol Records source told Rolling Stone at the time.
The week prior, Perry shared a 15-second TikTok video teasing her electro-pop, self-empowering single “Woman’s World.” Perry’s last project arrived in 2020 with Smile. She also joined Thomas Rhett on “Where We Started” in 2022 and sang with Alesso on “When I’m Gone” in 2021. She spent seven seasons as a judge on American Idol before leaving the show after its 22nd season.
