Kentucky baseball’s Mitchell Daly walks off NC State at 2024 College World Series
OMAHA, Neb. — For the first time in six games since the NCAA Tournament started, Kentucky baseball trailed. But the end result was the same: UK found a way to end on the right side of the scoreboard Saturday.

UK then went on to earn an extra-innings victory, escaping with a 5-4 win in 10 innings at Charles Schwab Stadium. Mitchell Daly matched Nicholson by hitting a solo homer in the bottom of the 10th.
The come-from-behind victory in extras kept the Wildcats’ six-game win streak intact. (UK hasn’t lost since May 24, when it fell to South Carolina in the SEC Tournament semifinals.
