Dutch Bros Coffee will open its first Kerman location on Saturday at a shopping center developed by the local franchisees.
It will be the 15th Dutch Bros Coffee built and operated by Genesis and Brent Wilson in Central Valley.
The location will be at the new 6,742-square-foot Kerman Marketplace at the corner of Whitesbridge and Goldenrod avenues. The Dutch Bros will open to the public at 5:30 a.m., and the ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place later that morning at 10 a.m.
“We are beyond excited to celebrate the grand opening of Dutch Bros Coffee as the first business at Kerman Marketplace,” Genesis Wilson, partner of Trayla Properties and franchisee and chief operating office of Dutch Bros Coffee, said in a news release. “This milestone marks not only our debut in the Kerman community but also the beginning of a vibrant new retail destination. We’re proud to bring 40 new jobs to the area and look forward to serving this incredible community.”
The release stated what the future holds for the Kerman Marketplace.
“The new retail center offers excellent street visibility, ample parking, and space for future growth, including United Health Centers, West Coast Sourdough and one additional available retail opportunity for lease.”
In 2023, it was reported that a T-Mobile store would be in the retail center. However, plans for that location were scrapped.
In the past, Trayla Properties has built a majority of the Fresno Dutch Bros locations from the ground up. The Kerman Dutch Bros will be the first full retail center.
In 2023, Kerman Mayor Maria Pacheco shared her excitement about the addition of a Dutch Bros and a new retail center.
“Kerman is a place where we see a lot of commuters, a lot of people that live here but commute to Fresno, especially with our younger generation. So I’m really excited to see these types of places coming into Kerman that open up opportunities for our youth to work,” she said.
