Kesha Goes Grocery Shopping with Entrepreneur Michael Gilvary After Declaring Her Single Status
It seems Kesha‘s call for eligible bachelors in Los Angeles actually worked in her favor!
Per photos obtained by PEOPLE, the pop star, 37, was spotted grocery shopping with health-tech entrepreneur Michael Gilvary at a Whole Foods in Los Angeles on Sunday, July 21.
Kesha wore a simple white tank top, denim cutoff shorts and black sneakers during the errand run, while the businessman matched in a plain white tee, shorts and sneakers.
The pair’s outing comes right after photographers captured them leaving a dinner date at Italian eatery Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif. on Saturday, July 20, sparking romance rumors. Just a few days before, Kesha was seen proudly holding up a cardboard “I’M SINGLE” sign in West Hollywood, though it’s unclear if that status has yet changed.
Reps for Kesha did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Kesha was last linked to film producer Riccardo Maddalosso, whom she was spotted kissing during an L.A. outing in May 2023. The “TiKToK” singer briefly spoke about the former couple’s romance in a cover story with SELF published the following month while opening up about a health scare she experienced by freezing her eggs in January 2023.
“I didn’t really want to mention the relationship, because I think making a family is everyone’s choice, and family can mean so many different things to everyone. My family right now are the people I spend time with, and my actual family, and also my band, my friends, and my cats,” Kesha said before quickly adding of Maddalosso (whom she didn’t mention by name), “But…he is amazing!”
Last October, Kesha announced that she was newly single while simultaneously revealing a breakup on X (formerly Twitter). “I just got dumped for the first time… in my LIFE,” the Grammy-nominated artist wrote in a post. “Can you believe it? We’re all f—ed.”
Since then, Kesha has remained relatively quiet about her love life, although she’s been quite vocal about her career resurgence following the release of her “Joyride” single on July 4 — her first as an independent artist after parting ways with RCA Records and Vector Management and settling a near-decade-long legal battle with producer Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald in June 2023.
Kesha recently spoke to Forbes about the legal battle and said she’s now looking to “change the world,” starting with her own music label, Kesha Records.
“So, in addition to the traditional record label model, I’m also looking to the future and I’m looking for some really creative, boundary-pushing, innovative tech creators that want to change how the music business works and bring a new level of transparency to the whole business,” she shared. “So, I’m in a really exciting space right now.”
