KFC Luxembourg to create 600 jobs with planned expansion

KFC’s Luxembourg franchise holder, Firce Capital, announced plans to employ roughly 600 staff across ten planned fast-food restaurants in the Grand Duchy, according to a Luxembourg Times report.

The announcement comes after KFC confirmed its initial Luxembourg location in Belval Plaza shopping center, slated to open this October.

According to a press release issued Friday, KFC Luxembourg has already conducted two recruitment drives, securing several permanent and fixed-term contracts for the Belval opening. This initial restaurant is expected to create 70 jobs, according to Caroline Berthelot, head of recruitment.

“From the first quarter of next year we will be opening other restaurants with an average of 60 jobs per location, so all applications are welcome, from team member to restaurant manager,” Berthelot added in the report.

KFC plans to open nine additional restaurants throughout Luxembourg. Lease agreements are currently being finalized, with details on the remaining locations expected to be announced soon.
