Who is hosting the 2024 Kids’ Choice Awards?
Held for the 37th time this year, the Kids’ Choice Awards are organised by the children’s-TV broadcaster Nickelodeon. Award winners are decided by a public vote. The 2024 ceremony is to be hosted by the cartoon characters SpongeBob SquarePants (voiced by Tom Kenny) and Patrick Star (Bill Fagerbakke) – the first time the event has had virtual presenters.
The pair are central characters on Nickelodeon’s long-running animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, which is this month celebrating the 25th anniversary of its small-screen debut.

How can I vote on the Kids’ Choice Awards?
You can vote for your preferred nominees on the Nickelodeon website. You aren’t limited to a single vote in each category. “Vote once, vote twice, vote a hundred gazillion times,” the awards organisers say. “It’s the only awards show where kids can help us choose the winners, so your votes are SUPER important to us!” Voting is open until the day of the ceremony.
Who has the most Kids’ Choice Awards?
Selena Gomez is the most successful individual in the history of the Kids’ Choice Awards, having picked up 12 career gongs. The singer and actor has been nominated for one award this year, Favorite Female Artist. The actor Adam Sandler has 11 Kids’ Choice Awards on his resumé – and is in contention for two more this weekend. Sandler has earned nominations for Favorite Movie Actor and Favorite Male Voice from an Animated Movie.
The Kids’ Choice Awards’ most decorated production is SpongeBob SquarePants, which has amassed 20 accolades – a tally it could be about to add to. As you’ll see in the list of nominees above, the series is a contender for the Favorite Cartoon award.
